The stone
Moissanite is a lab-grown gemstone with a refractive index of about 2.65 (diamond is 2.42), a hardness of 9.25 on the Mohs scale (diamond is 10), and a dispersion of about 0.104 against diamond's 0.044, so it throws more fire in the light.

The only thing is that Swarovski crystals still shine brighter; I placed an earring for comparison. It may not be so obvious in the photo, but in real life the earring shines more noticeably. There is nothing to use to check the stone. The product looks very impressive.
