Moissanite is a lab-grown gemstone with a refractive index of about 2.65 (diamond is 2.42), a hardness of 9.25 on the Mohs scale (diamond is 10), and a dispersion of about 0.104 against diamond's 0.044, so it throws more fire in the light.

They look gorgeous. each moussianite comes with a certificate and a card with the moossanite’s unique number. i haven't tested or registered it, but it comes with a warranty. the earrings themselves are marked with a silver hallmark. the moossanite is 2 carats, and the square setting makes them look very large.
