The stone
Moissanite is a lab-grown gemstone with a refractive index of about 2.65 (diamond is 2.42), a hardness of 9.25 on the Mohs scale (diamond is 10), and a dispersion of about 0.104 against diamond's 0.044, so it throws more fire in the light.

The yellow stones in the earrings are clearly different shades. One is noticeably darker.

I really liked the earrings; they are well-made, the size is just right, not heavy, not too large, and not too small, which is important for me and others (if the ear piercing has already sagged or was initially pierced low) - the pin is in the middle of the cap, not like some that are on one side. This is the second product I've bought from this brand, I'm very satisfied.
They are worth every penny, I definitely recommend them.
